GGE Biplot Analysis to Explore the Adaption Potential of Italian Common Wheat Genotypes

چکیده

Given the substantial variation in global wheat yield, insufficient research cultivar selection for climate change, and lack of suitable germplasm sustainable agroecosystems, there is a requisite soft genotypes, with stable grain yield as well quality parameters. The present study was aimed at genotype evaluation (GGE biplot “mean performance versus stability”) not only but also technological, phytosanitary functional parameters 24 Triticum aestivum L. genotypes (eight landraces, old modern varieties, respectively) within single organic farm location (Argelato, Emilia-Romagna, Italy) over three consecutive years. Overall, high stability shown landraces varieties. In particular, Piave Gamba di Ferro, variety Verna, showed above-average means numerous interest. Additionally, relative combined mean demonstrated high-yielding Gentil Bianco Guà 113. Aside from these “unrecognized” resilient were to meet requisites agroecosystems. Future potential utilization more addressing change would ultimately facilitate survival valuable genetic resources.

GGE Biplot Analysis of Genotype × Environment Interaction in Wheat-Agropyron Disomic Addition Lines

Identification of the genetic architecture of phenotypic stability and management of adaptational genes is a prerequisite for improvement of adaptation. To locate the genes controlling adaptation, disomic addition lines of agropyron (agropyron elongatum, 2n=2x=14) into the genetic background of bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L., 2n=6x=42, cv. ‘Chinese Spring’=CS) were used in a randomized compl...

Evaluation of Genetic Variability of Durum Wheat Genotypes Based on Physiological Characteristics in Drought Conditions Using the GGE-BIPLOT Method

In order to study the genetic variability based on the physiologic and drought tolerance indices of 20 genotypes of durum wheat, an experiment was carried out in research farm and physiology laboratory of Agricultural and Natural Resources Campus of Razi University of Kermanshah, Iran, in a randomized complete block design with three replications under stress and non-stress conditions in 2013-2...

Bayesian GGE biplot models applied to maize multi-environments trials.

The additive main effects and multiplicative interaction (AMMI) and the genotype main effects and genotype x environment interaction (GGE) models stand out among the linear-bilinear models used in genotype x environment interaction studies. Despite the advantages of their use to describe genotype x environment (AMMI) or genotype and genotype x environment (GGE) interactions, these methods have ...

Evaluation of Seed Yield Stability of Chickpea Genotypes Using GGE Biplot Method

In this study, 14 advanced chickpea genotypes selected from regional experiments with Adel and Azad, as control cultivars, were cultivated in a randomized complete block design with three replications in eight environments (Gonbad, Gachsaran, Ilam and Khorramabad in three, two, two and one years, respectively) in Iran during 2017-2020 growing seasons. Combined analysis of variance showed that e...

Evaluation of soybean lines and environmental stratification using the AMMI, GGE biplot, and factor analysis methods.

In the final phases of new soybean cultivar development, lines are cultivated in several locations across multiple seasons with the intention of identifying and selecting superior genotypes for quantitative traits. In this context, this study aimed to study the genotype-by-environment interaction for the trait grain yield (kg/ha), and to evaluate the adaptability and stability of early-cycle so...
